Fundación Presencia is a non-profit organization focused on promoting democratic values and citizen participation by strengthening civic education throughout Colombia, especially in remote areas of the country.

Through a number of different programs that focus on student and teacher training, Presencia has reached thousands of Colombians with its workbooks and seminars, attempting to strengthen participation in democratic institutions and respect for human rights.

These programs have had the support of USAID, through Management Sciences for Development (MSD), as well as the American Embassy in Colombia. Grants from the Genesis Foundation have helped support the operations of Fundación Presencia.
